Twenty odd years ago, dearly departed Esther invited her friends to a plant exchange in her garden in Skokie. Then Ellen, her next door neighbor, extended the invitation to friends on the garden web. The event has evolved and expanded to include Chicagoland gardeners.

Through the years, gardens, new friends and relationships have grown and the circle of like-minded people has widened. We would like to continue to share the fun and joy of gardening for as long as possible.
Happy Gardening!
