I've been working in the yard since it's warming up and found these guys all over the place. I've tried looking them up on several apps but can't find a good match. Does anyone know what they are? By the way they thrive in the water and have not been damaged by saltwater flooding in any way.

Sorry I'm not familiar with that plant, but there's a phone app that identifies plants according to your area: iNaturalist
I'm new to that app too, hopefully it's more accurate than some of the other online sites. Crossing Fingers!

Really need close up of leaves, and flowers when you see some.
For me just looking at the bush shape, it might be in blueberry family... I have deer berry bushes that look like that...

or maybe a St. John's wort... which I also have... as we're in the same bioregion, would expect to have the same plants...

Plant apps can suggest well, or poorly, be sure and follow up with confirming their suggestion.
Better closeups of details would help.
Plant it and they will come.

I think I see compound or divided leaves.
Is it soft like a perennial? Doesn't look woody from here.
Plant it and they will come.

@sallyg - One app suggested that it was a Gardencress at 28% (Brassicacae). I am super new to the gardening world so I have no clue if that's it or not lol

I still can't tell... but I think that blueberry and St John's wort are out.
I tried google lens on your picture, and nope... no idea.

Probably need to keep looking for flowers.

Haha I do not get any Brassica 'feel' from the pictures.

As far as I know, apps (except one that I know and participate in) are all just computer matching- the human eye can still sometimes find crucial details better.

This plant is sort of generic and immature- makes it hard.
Plant it and they will come.

@sallyg - It's soft and sort of rubbery. I'm a texture guy and I like the way it feels honestly. Also, before they started to show out like this they were basically underwater.

I have this around my garden and Google brought me to your question when I searched my photo. I'm in West Texas. No one in my West Texas groups can identify it correctly. Have you had any luck identifying?

Looks like it's photographed from the top. Can you add extra photos from the side, close up of the leaves also? About how tall is it?

@Calif_Sue - Here are a few more pics. Also, I would say the tallest one (first picture) out there is roughly 10-12 inches tall.

@Lharmon89 - No one has been able to tell me what it is for certain. Your pic looks like the exact same plant honestly. Guess we're in the same boat lol
