We came from here
The thread "Our Orchid blooms in April 2024 🐣" in Orchids forum

It is May 1. and Spring is around here in full swing. "Around here" this also translates to moving my plants out for the Summer. Today is day 4 of that.... Smiling
But My C. skinneri albescens v. oculata 'Debbie' is still in inside with 5 open spikes along with the Irene Finney. ( Irene Finney weighs a ton.....)

My old Jackfowlieara Appleblossom opens a nice spike. I bought this one ca 1998 from Waldor Orchids.

My Paph Ho Chi Minh opens 2 spikes with two buds each. This one is a favorite, it came from our BigBill a couple of years ago.

And one more from BigBill, Bulbophyllum claptonense. It bloomed last year around the same time! I had grouped it on the deck with some favorites and a Squirrel had taken some bites out of it. This year it will not go out on the deck, only to take pictures!

Oh lucky you! That is just a wonderfully grown Paphiopedilum! I could not do any better myself! 🥰
You have a nice potful of claptonense. I see multiple inflorescences in its future.
I withheld one plant that I found images because I knew the May thread was coming. I wanted to contribute right away!

Thumb of 2024-05-01/Catpaworchids/c0bd5e
Just look at all those flowers on Cymbidium madidum. There seem to be between 25-30 per inflorescence.
They are chartreuse or yellow green with ivory lips blushed and spotted red. Just a gorgeous smaller flowered Cymbidium!

Gina, your Cycnodes Wine Delight has the most delicious smelling blooms. Do you remember Teaberry Gum? The smell/scent is exactly like it!

Hello all. Sorry that I have been MIA lately. Been a crazy month or so at the shop and some family issues. But I tried to keep up on the post and, of course, pics of the 'chids.
A number of years ago, my grandson's neighbor gave me a number of Phals., knowing I am into orchids. So every once in a while I get one to bloom with no ID. Like this one

Thanx for the acorns, Nick. It was a fun event. It is an annual garden show. So lots of other vendors. Succulents, geraniums, Irises and tools. The list goes on.
