Thank you Kathryn. Sorry you lost some of yours. Which varieties do you have? We get alot of rain here in the Pacific Northwest. I lost some of my Coral Reef and the Ogon. The rest just seem to thrive as long as they have really good drainage. Our clay can be hard on them, so I work in compost, sand and chicken grit. I didn't get that done for the Ogon and Coral Reef, both of which are very eye catching plants. : (
The gal that runs our plant sales at the local hardware store grows her Ogon and some others in cactus mix and they grow like weeds. I think I am going to try that this year with Ogon and Coral Reef.
Also trying a variation of Al's potting recipe with some.
