I got to wondering. The "Thumbs up" and "Acorns" have a counter next to them. But the "star" doesn't. Anyone think it might be interesting to see who and how many have "starred" a particular article or post?

Jennifer, the star is like a bookmark. If you star something you want to refer back to, you will find it in your Profile under some info about jvdubb. Thumbs up

Right. And it is kind of inconspicuous. Having a counter would make it more noticeable, but maybe it could be a bit brighter, too? I tend to forget to use it myself. And I really like the feature!

Yup. I'm an ATP voyeur. Rolling on the floor laughing
Actually, I was just thinking that a counter might call a bit more attention to a post or article that was particularly useful, as well as sort of a reminder that the feature was there.

I think if a decision is made to post the number of times a post has been starred that I absolutely agree with Rita about it's no one's business which posts I star so would want the people who starred the post to not be named like they are in the thumbs up.

Well, if they want to know then they don't need another method. I had not really thought of that. But then it seems to me we are not needing another method.

I agree. Energy could be spent on new constructive endeavor instead of on something that is already in place.
