At this point, I think it's safe to determine the plants still alive aren't going to die if there are a few *more* nights of frost. I lost definitely less than half of the plants, not bad considering I had no idea at all what I was doing, and had copies of most of it inside.

Just had to toss several pots of different stonecrop that did not make it over this brutal winter
also lost 90% of my hens and chicks.

That looks fantastic! Some Sedums can take getting knocked back by cold. Any signs of life?

Here's pics from today of the plants in the outdoor garden. Nothing has been added since last summer. I had no idea any of these could survive, very impressed with these plants & now know I don't have to bring these inside if I don't have room. Need more minis! I have 2 other boxes DH made that are ready to have plants added.

I put together a couple of pots last summer a couple of mini hellebore and mini hosta. And one with rock garden plants. I sunk two of them into the dirt in the Veggie Garden to over winter and the other I laid under the wisteria with my living wreath where they got well covered with leaves.
Everything is looking really good. Will post pics a little later.

Lucky I have most of them in the rock garden and they did much better there.

These sedums grow in the cracks of my brick patio. Years ago I had a couple of pots with these in them and they just planted a few of themselves into the bricks.

Miniature Solomon's Seal. Such a cute little thing. It over wintered in this pot just sunk part way in the ground. I just need to get it put into a planter. I have a few more mini hosta.

I think I lost mine this winter, loved it, it was so cute!

I needed to switch a few plants around the dwarf hosta was claiming the pot so I moved a few of the other minis out of the pot and let it have the pot. I moved the mini heuchera into another pot with a different smaller hosta and the solomans seal. I didn't make any changes to the square one, it is growing in nicely.

Some of mine looked like that last week and now I seem some green peeking out. Don't give up yet.

They are still sitting there , mostly because I have been too busy to dump them yet
