My Pachypodium horombense rotted most of the way but the top was good.
I coated the bottom with a mixture of cinnamon and rooting hormone. Then I potted it in pure perlite.
I pruned the top off of one of my Pachypodium densiflorum here are pics of the process.
The last pic is the cutting I'm going to root.
I bought a braided money tree (Pachira aquatica) I separated the five plants into their own pots. I'm going to let them fatten up and then put them in a bonsai pot as a forest planting.
I also made my first order from out of Africa. I ordered an Pachypodium cf eburneum and Pachypodium densiflorum var brevicalyx B. I've tried both of these from seed but wasn't successful so I decided to just get plants this time.
