Lovely banner, Nancy. This time of year, they remind me of a warm and cozy fire. I'm sure sorry that I can't do more tulips. If the squirrels don't find the bulbs, the deer will certainly find the blooms.

I have the same situation. Most bulbs get dug up and eaten by wild pigs, and the deer eat everything above ground. Sighing!

Thank you so much, all! I appreciate your kind words, and your thumbs and acorns. After long Minnesota winters I can't wait for my tulips to appear, and these are definitely a favorite. The squirrels here do get a few bulbs, but I usually plant about 700 or so, so they don't do too much damage. And my big black lab and huge blue Great Dane do a great job keeping the occasional deer away.
