Queen of Denmark is a rose of interest to me.

Experiences to share?

I read that the blooms on this rose won't fully open in a wet season.....when does it usually bloom for you? If it blooms in the first couple of weeks of June (on average) I'll probably pass it up; we're usually really hammered with rains about then.

Does it require the application of chemicals to control disease?

Are the leaves (chewing) insect magnets?

Any insight greatly appreciated! Smiling

We often have cold, wet springs here in Michigan and I have not had a problem with it balling. Most Alba's are pretty disease resistant. It's highly fragrant and just beautiful.
Certainly worth trying.
