I've been admiring this moss growing in one of my mini gardens. Do you have some moss? Looks like I need to do some tiny weeding! LOL!

I found some moss in the alley behind the building where I work yesterday & "harvested" around a square foot of it & took it home. I put it on a bare spot on the ground for now. This makes me want to make a 3rd mini garden!

I saw some moss along my flower bed today when I was cleaning them. I think I will harvest some and put it in my Fairy Garden that I just made. I will have to look around and see if I can find more.

The drought the past couple summers had decimated the moss but I found more & got it into place in this mini this past weekend. I hope it fills-out instead of slowly shriveling like the last batch. Please, no more drought this summer!!

I have learned that pill bugs eat moss, watched them doing it, and that's why it keeps disappearing. So it's never going to happen, at least not @ my house.

I need some new mosses, I am out and when I was up in NJ last month I forgot to collect more to bring back!! Yes tiny weeding is a thing. At the historical estate I was the head gardener of I had a half acre ish sized moss garden. So much tiny weeding it was a full time job all on its own!! Hahah!!

I hope you have better results than I have. I have given up on trying to move moss at all, after further observations. It gets eaten too quickly to bother. Not drought as I thought a few yrs ago.

If the weed patch we refer to as "lawn" ever grows up, I hope it could look just like that.

Today new moss arrived Rhodobryum ontariense, a rare one in cultivation (Uncommon in the wild) and an extra from the seller -- Atrichum somethingsomethingsomething!

Rhodobryum is porbably one of the most uncomfortable mosses to step on.... so stemm-y, so slippery-rosetty
