Thank you for the welcome! 'Pink Lips' has the same habit as 'Hot Lips', same sort of size, and quite vigorous. Not on sale yet in the UK, but it will be propagated a lot.

@Monty72 Robin,

Would you like to add this wonderful photo the 'Pink Lips' database and any others you have of it?

I'm very excited about these buds!
I sowed 3 seeds from 'Pink Lips' on March 23, 2018 and have inflorescences on all three seedlings! Hurray!

Here is my most precocious pinky (ex 'Pink Lips'). The others are still wrapped up in their involucres.

Pinky is being a diva and is opening ever so slowly today.
(Of course, I guess I shouldn't really complain considering that she was a seed only 7 weeks ago. Hilarious! )

Meanwhile, her photographer doesn't seem able to get a decent photo today so these will have to do for now. They aren't the sharpest photos but you can see that the flowers are both white and pink like their mother! Hurray!

Thumb of 2018-05-11/Danita/6e2fb2 Thumb of 2018-05-11/Danita/12059c

This particular seedling is also producing a lot of axillary growth near the base which I consider a good sign. I'm hoping that it will have a nice, bushy habit when it gets bigger.

I'll update again when my model decides to stick out her lower lip and give me the pouty look. Green Grin!

Edit: Well, she kept blooming but kept that lower lip upturned. I'm hoping that won't be a permanent characteristic. Some specimens do keep this less-attractive characteristic.This is the first flush of blooms and it's growing under abnormal conditions (inside, under fluorescent lights) so there may still be some hope of correction. Smiling
