Thank you Josephine! My family loves the standing cypress and I've seen a couple of hummingbirds visiting it.
Oh and I forgot one of my favorite plants, Mexican Hat. Thumbs up

I wonder why standing cypress doesn't thrive in your garden? I was afraid it wouldn't do well in my garden because I have them in clay soil that's rarely amended. I wasn't expecting them to bloom either because I started the seeds last fall and I thought they needed at least a year to bloom.

I've been pulling up Mexican hat seedlings and transplanting them to other parts of my garden. I'm trying to growth the solid yellow variety but so far the seedlings are tiny.

Thanks Betsy!
The betony has still been in bloom which is why I haven't taken cuttings yet but I'll root some as soon as possible or look for seeds again. Thumbs up I'll save some standing cypress seeds for you too, right now there are tons of green immature seed pods. How much sun is your monarda getting? Is it the same one as mine or the one with red or purple blooms? What seeds have you collected? Smiling

Thanks Larry! I have the cedar sage in dappled shade under my cedar trees. My pigeonberries are also in dappled shade too. It took my cedar sages a year to finally take off and I'm hoping I have even more next year?

That's good to know about the year to take off. I planted 3 or 4 in some dappled shade under my junipers and they haven't really grown much or busted out. Maybe next year, like yours? My pigeon berries are in near complete shade and again, in year 1, they've just kind of held their own.

@TexasPlumeria87 - nice blooms, especially on the Cenizos! The deer have nibbled at my coral honeysuckle planting this spring and it looks awful :(

How much Frog Fruit do you have and where are you using it?

@frostweed Thank you! With all the flowers and pollinators my garden seems more alive this year. Smiling

@ricelg Hopefully your cedar sages will take off next year? I think mine dropped a few seeds in the area so I hope I see little sprouts? My pigeonberries are still small even the one I transplanted from the tree line last year is small but it has two bloom clusters on it.

Thanks too on the compliments. I hope your coral honeysuckle returns. I don't have any deer in my area thankfully, I rarely see rabbits too. I got the frog fruit a couple of months ago. I got it from a nursery and it was originally in a 4 inch pot but I moved it to a gallon container until I plant it in Fall. Thumbs up
