Hi Fern, click on Community at the top of your page, and find the forum where you want to post. Then scroll all the way to the bottom of the forum page, and you will see the posting box.

Is there a quicker way to get to the bottom than scrolling? A keyboard shortcut? I've often wondered this.

The End key on your keyboard takes you to the bottom of any page. The Home key takes you back to the top.

Well, how simple is that? I was trying all sorts of combos with the page down key, none of which helped me. Many thanks from the bonehead I can certainly be! Deb

Hurray! Seeing this post made me remember that I can use the control key and either the Up or Down Arrow to jump from top to bottom of a page. Green Grin!

My laptop doesn't have an End key but this photo I just took makes me realize that I need to clean the dirty keyboard. *Blush*

Greene and Lin, your keyboards are amazingly clean in comparison with mine. I have no letters left on my U, I, O, H, L, N, M keys. Good thing I don't have to look at the keys when I type.

Mine is like yours, zuzu. Letters worn off, and plenty of dust. I thought all keyboards had an "end" key.

Change "dust" to "tobacco" and you have my keyboard. I periodically shake out the excess tobacco buildup when my Caps Lock key stops working.

My oldest keyboard has held up well, despite regular use. It's 12 years old now and only the N and M are worn off (much to my surprise, although the O, C, B, L and H have a little bit missing now). Usually I find the A,S and D are the first to go!

Apparently the "end" key is in different places on different keyboards? On my Dell laptop it's in the upper right-hand position. Do all Apple computers not have one?

The numpad and navigation keys (up/down/left/right arrows plus home/end/page up/page down) tend to move around depending on the design of the keyboard but are generally on the right-hand side somewhere. Once you get into notebooks, odds are you won't have some of them at all. Laptops generally have them, although often you have to use an additional function key in combination.

When you want to post a reply in a thread and you are at the beginning of the thread you can click on "jump to the bottom" to go directly to the new post box.
I use this on my iPad in combination with touching in the upper left corner for quick up and down thread navigation.

Once you folk get looking for new keyboards, let me tell you that the new Logitech wireless I have is absolutely wonderful. It was a great Christmas present and now has me spoiled. I cringe when I use the one at work! Seriously, not a salesperson, but definitely worth the look.
