Anybody experience giving something like 2.5 acorns and recipient receives double that amount? That has happened to me twice already. It happened with this post and I did not hit the button twice!

I've been giving acorns the past two days but I don't find it happening ... good thing too or I'd be out of acorns. Rolling on the floor laughing

Bev, looking at your profile page it appears you gave that post 2.5 acorns twice at the same exact time of day:
Post #1481851 at 4:20 p.m. - 2.50 acorns
Post #1481851 at 4:20 p.m. - 2.50 acorns

Another one, you also gave the same amount of acorns but different post on that forum
Post #1481854 at 4:20 P.m. - 2.50 acorns

Same thing on May 9th
Post # 1438950 at 11:36 p.m. - 1.11 acorns
ditto same post # same time, same amount of acorns given

I wonder if there's a glitch with your computer?

Definitely something weird somewhere and now afraid to give acorns.

During first incidence, I thought I had pressed the button twice because I didn't see it register as being given on the post so that may explain the 1.11 given twice.

But in giving the first 2.50 acorn, I pressed button once and then went on to the other post to give the second 2.50. After that I noticed that 5 acorns were given to the previous post and I thought how coincidental that somebody gave enough to equal 5....not knowing that it was me... Shrug!

I will just be more careful with these fingers and the keys and see how I do.

I've been noticing a lot of duplicate posts lately too. I wonder if there is a glitch somewhere. Dave , don't ask me to point one out at this time.

I can't find the one I was looking for. It may have been a system message from Australis about giving me an acorn for a photo he submitted to the data base. I have seen others but I don't usually pay attention as sometimes my mouse is faster than my brain, and figure I'm not the only one.

Not sure if this might be the same issue, but I'm seeing two sets of what appear to me to be identical photos added to the database recently. Both are iris. Or, there could be some miniscule difference - seems a lot of folks submit really similar photos, or the same photo cropped, so could just be my eyes.

@Dave -- in the vegetables and fruit forum, the thread "Newbie, south Alabama," posts 1482622 and 1483018 are duplicates.

Thanks for that. Those are indeed duplicates. I don't know why but this user posted a message and then 15 hours later came back and submitted the exact same post a second time. Either they intentionally did it, or their computer resubmitted the post on their behalf? I'm completely at a loss as to how this happens.

Weird. I'll ask Ed if he knowingly did it, but I doubt it.
