Small bee (no idea what kind) on iris bloom

Wildflowers, no I don't know the name of this spider, it was a nice size though. It has since moved on. We are getting a lot of showers here. The humidity is high and the tropical plants love it, others are getting too much water. I do see a few dragonflies, will try to get pictures of them.

She's a pretty girl.

Saw another thread wasted wasp carrying a caterpillar off but this time watched it put the caterpillar down in his hole... shortly after that, I saw yet another wasp carrying a caterpillar but it was interrupted by a chicken. The wasp dropped the caterpillar and the chicken ate it. Poor wasp couldn't figure out where it went!

Wasp busy at work. They seem to have a particular fondness of this green caterpillar, I see them carrying them often. First the wasp got in the hole and got it ready for the caterpillar, then it pulled the caterpillar down into the hole, and at last the wasp came back out and filled the hole in.

Sorry I've been in absentia for months guys & gals. Just been super busy. Haven't even had time to take hardly any photos. I finished reading the Feb. thread this morning. Yikes!! It's been a while eh? My intent all along was to pick up where I had left off & read all the way through to catch me up to date but I realized I got so far behind that I would never catch up under that plan so I've just skipped ahead to present time.
