Just received my bulb box from Colorblends!
Planted 100 Snakes Head Fritillaria meleagris in Jay Walkers meadow today, 25 Spanish Bluebells Hyacinthoides hispanica and 25 Allium schubertii to go! Did not get as many bulbs this year as normal, but other fall jobs still to accomplish.

I should receive a shipment from Brent and Becky's on Saturday.Not a large order 50 fritillaria meleagris and I believe 15 lilies. I have planted some allium, daffodils and crocus already. These were purchased locally.

Excellent, Rj, Caroline and Gary. I bet your gardens will look absolutely fantastic next year!

I don't think I will order anything myself this year. I would really like too, but I simply have too many of my own bulbs still in summer storage for that to be a really good idea. D'Oh!

A combination which I am going to plant is Apricot Beauty Tulips with Ice Follies daffodils. Both are Early Season blooms.

I only ordered 15 bulbs this year-- 5 of Princeps & 10 of Thalia. I ALWAYS order way more than that but am getting to the point that I can't get down on the ground to plant. I picked up 2 bags of mixed hyacinths from Lowe's. I poured them in a brown bag & put in the veg bin to chill (always remember to not put fruit in there). I will pot up in soil around Dec. 1. That's probably going to be it for this year unless the B & B sale on Thanksgiving has something I just can't resist.

Planted 25 Spanish Bluebells today, did not look like a readily identifiable top and bottom, so just planted them on the side like Fritillarias.

I stopped at Walmart last night to pick up a few things. The store was not busy so I checked out what was available in the garden center. I came home with 2 Fritillaria persica and and a dozen double daffodils. They were marked down. Christmas is taking over the seasonal aea. The fritillaria were very nice sized bulbs.

My order from B&D Lilies arrived today. Too wet to plant today, but should be able to get them in tomorrow. All ordered are OT's with the bonus bulb being a huge double nose trumpet. Nothing but spectacular can describe the size and quality of these bulbs. It was fun just examining them!

Don;t forget the pots and end of season 75% off deals. This is a good video for those last minute purchases and for those of us that like to have pots of Spring bulbs on the patio.

That's great! I wasn't aware she was back in business, since her move. Bulbs don't last long in my zone. Sighing!

Buggy Crazy always seemed to have the largest lily bulbs I've ever purchased.

I've received 2 of 3 bulb orders (with forcing intentions) so far. Seven pots to force ready to go, probably 25 plus to start.
Plans are to force 14 different daffodils, 6 kinds of tulips, plus a few assorted 'other'. .

I wish there was a way to buy tulip bulbs from Colorblends without having to order 100. There tulips are gorgeous but I need a more manageable number -say 10-20. Can anyone recommend a reputable seller on the east coast? I'm in Maryland and I would have to buy them now if I'm going to put them in the refrigerator. Thanks.

Gayle, wouldn't you be planting now vs refrigeration ?

@Crawgarden,
I might be able to get under the line if I order fast. I would refrigerate for about 6 weeks and plant in December probably. We have warmer winters than the rest of Maryland here on the shore.

@jmorth,
Thanks so much for giving me the names of other places. Brent and Becky's isn't that far from me, relatively speaking.
