Landscapes around here are beginning to look somewhat bleak. There are fewer and fewer plants in bloom. It never hurts to join in a NARR, especially when the prizes are all worthwhile and good! The "HEFT" caught my attention right away since it seems to save the back muscles. Click on the HEFT link above to see the videos. If I don't win I'm still thinking of buying one! Crossing Fingers!

Karen, you are so right.
I was so excited to look through the Perennial Obsession website. I kept saying "Look at that one, no.. that one!" So many pretties.

@DraDiana, the photos for the database don't have to be from your yard. You can take photos at botanical gardens or your favorite plant nursery, actually anywhere will do if you see a nice plant or landscape. Good luck!

Thank you, Karen.
I've noticed others doing that. In my rural area, the nurseries are closed (seasonal), and the nearest botanical gardens are 3 hours away. There's and endless supply of wild and native plants, but identifying them can be tricky. ( For example, I thought I was safe posting our native Hardy Hibiscus, but the Missouri Department of Conservation had an out-dated name on their website. Fortunately, an extremely knowledgeable forum member enlightened me.) My 5 tickets will have to do this time... Smiling
