I'm posting this thread and if it's not used, then it will soon drop out of sight.

First, I wanted to say I apologize to @JamesAcclaim if there was any offense taken by a post I made in another forum thread. I didn't want to get off topic any further on that thread. If you are truly *just tired*, I feel for you and then it doesn't become funny. And then also, heck, there's no need to view Recent Threads any which way if your always visiting this forum because you would see easily every new post here.

So @Philipwonel Philip, who is that precious in your photo (I can't remember what the proper term is). I see there is already a weather thread, so hopefully you enjoy posting there.

Too many threads aren't good.

But maybe a thread like "Anyone Who Has Not Introduced Themself on Another Forum, Please Feel free to Introduce Yourself Here, and talk a little about yourself and your background.".

Got company here . . . later .

Perhaps they live in CA too. And perhaps it's nice that the weather has cooled off. My brother lives in San Diego and he loved living there while the temps remained between 60 and 70 degrees F. He's been a little more uncomfortable this year with the higher temps. And perhaps someone is in the position they need to start some seeds same time as you and they need to be thinking about it. Hopefully.

Or perhaps they just enjoy reading your posts. They can be funny without trying to laugh *at* you. Like the word "hear", when it should be "here"; triggers funny thoughts in my mind. The word "flies", although correct, also triggers funny thoughts in my mind. I think I might have offended someone else because of one of those trigger thoughts. And I didn't mean to laugh *at* them, it just became funny. And believe me, what I'm going through currently, I need as many laughs as possible. Because laughter can be healing.

And I'm glad you enjoy chatting here, and other forums. It's nice to chat and learn at the same time, especially with those in your same area.

The sirens are sounding right now in our little town Delphi. I'm in Pittsburg Heights, formerly Pittsburg, now rural Delphi. But I do believe those particular sirens are a testing of the system for a true alert of bad weather or war. Peace! . . . and Shalom!

Sometimes I just like the threads I started to just drop off because once in a forum, you see the threads that are generally posted to. Yet my conversation doesn't really fit other threads as well.

I had posted somewhere else that I have a part time seasonal job resuming this month.

Well, I quit, or I could say I was forced to quit.

Since my business is seasonal, I could always use extra money during the winter months. I was working a couple days a week (4-6 hours) starting last November.

Well, I've had two major nervous breakdowns; one I spent 2-weeks in the mental facility and the second time 1-week. I call them episodes which are onset by major stress. I hadn't had an episode for quite some time, and I won't go into details of all what happened to cause this episode.

But, the owner of the hardware store is very much against smoking! So bad that I either could not smoke at all on my 4-hour shift or quit. Right now, I just had to quit. I can't do it. For some reason, smoking just seems to help relieve things (??) Before now I had quit for 3 to 3.5 years which is the longest I had ever gone. Usually I would quit, then something major (in my opinion or feelers) would happen and I would start again in a year. This time I'm surprised I'm not back in the mental hospital. Yay Hurray! for the strength I've had through this past stresser, and then all that followed.

Bad thing is, I have lots and lots and lots of seed bags and all those seeds need cleaned. I have no drive to do that. Hopefully it will happen by December. I've got a few weeks to get better. Posting here has been a help with the exception of one poster. That one poster was very colorful in nice ways.

So to those I had said I may not be here often, that may not be the case.

But for financial purposes I am still looking in my small little town Delphi for a part-time seasonal job. I don't want to drive to WalMart - 20 miles one way; whereas Delphi is 3 miles.

Hope you keep well !
I believe you will.
The higher power doesn't put anything on us we can't handle.

I'm sure you've heard the saying : What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger !

I had a traumatic head injury, head contusions, facial scars, etc, some thirty years ago. My head swelled up big as a basket ball. Surgeons worked on my head in emergency room, over eight hours !!!
NO ONE AT ALL !!! EXPECTED ME TO LIVE !!!
Butt ! By the power of prayer's, and the grace of the almighty Lord ! Hear I'm.
The good Lord has and wants me to do more work for him.

So ! Never give up Thumbs up

Now, please ! Don't make me give up on you.

Women and men can be friend's without being in a sexual relationship.
So ! Please stop making inuindoes about me looking for a mate. I'm not !
Good day.

So are we just supposed to chat about whatever we want to bring up here?

Nothing too interesting for me. I grumped about the one hour fall back on the clocks this morning. Means it will be getting dark much too soon in the afternoons.

But I don't know about the grumpy thread, they might miss you. Some people feel better if other people are grumpy too, and they can share their grumps. But I don't particularly like the time change either!

I follow the grumpy thread but rarely have actual grumps. Far more likely to be happy and I follow that thread also (as well as the Thankful thread).

I've watched your tomato posts in the past to get ideas. Thank you for posting. I'm a bad girl, and I have some work there. But I don't have much good news yet, with more disappointment than good, so I've hesitated posting under the tomato threads. The testing is only two years old and we haven't had the best weather for tomatoes and how and when I planted, so I hate to give a thumbs-down on a variety until at least a 3rd year. The best I could post about each variety was flavor. But even my 'Sungold' cherry tomatoes which are usually profuse, did really crappy this year. So how could I judge the other tomatoes.

Some years are like that. Simply bad years. But just keep on trying.

I love to grow veggies and tomatoes are my favorite to grow. And of course I have many different ones.
