Well, I spent a few hours making out orders yesterday....I would have bought more, but I'm running out of space & money! Here's my veggie list: beans Jade & Gold Crop, beets Golden & Vulture, carrots Romance & Maverick, pickling cukes Boston, National, Eureka, & Pioneer, eggplant Slim Jim, lettuce Ice Queen & Merveille de Quatre Saisons, peas Sabre, basil & dill. I'm not starting any toms or peppers this year...getting lazy, I'll just buy them at WFF. For flowers I ordered cosmos, marigolds, glads, & dahlias...also 3 hostas, June....I'm digging out an old peony garden...too shady now, & am planting the hostas with others that I've already planted. Oh, also ordered purple & lavender Queen Anne's lace....can't wait to see how they turn out!

Seems like a nice veggie list to me and plenty of seeds to plant out. I don't blame you for not wanting to start your own peppers and tomatoes. It is a lot of work to start them and so much easier just to buy starts.

I never get out to the local nurseries this early to check the seed selections. I really should as things might not be so picked over and I might have a better selection.

The bad part of buying seeds on line is that no one place has everything wanted so one ends up with multiple shipping charges. Grumbling

Yes, those shipping charges are annoying when you have to pay a bunch of them. I wouldn't mind if I could get everything at once from one place but that is never how it turns out.

Seed catalogs are coming in fast and furious now... They don't really make narrowing things down an easier. Seems I see 3 or 4 new things I'd like to try while searching if they have the stuff I already know I want....

I have some eggplant seeds to start also. Never tried to start eggplant before.

But I REALLY have a lot of pepper seeds. I went nuts late last spring ordering pepper seeds. I can't possibly start all those seeds as I don't have the room to plant that many peppers.

Still the peppers were fabulous last year. I am looking forward to growing the Japanese peppers again. Both the ones I had last season and some new to me ones.

And I am also especially excited about the Lunchbox pepper seeds.

I liked the lunchbox ones as they were small...just right for a salad. I'm hoping WFF has the Japanese peppers this year, I'd like to try some.
