Placed my Young's Gardenshop semp order, 31 varieties, unfortunately 10 others I had on my order list were already out of stock (removed from the list), I guess these sell like hotcakes. There were a few new ones added (and marked as "new"), so I added one of Kevin's named 'Holly Jolly', it certainly looks jolly to me. Glad to have purchased a new one right out of the starting gate, it's not even in the Semp database yet.

Kevin, what is the parentage of this one?

Was surprised to see this one listed! It was a seedling that I was debating and sent it to Toby to see what he thought. It has very interesting watermarks. It's from Killer X Jungle Shadows.

I have even more outrageous ones in the next generation, especially in a group from Heart of Darkness X Borscht. You see why I like that line!

LOL, I surprised you with this, I guess your friend Toby likes it too. I do indeed like the watermarks, and combination of green and purple color with unusual mottling.

From Young's I bought 5 of your cultivars, (had 7 on my list to order, but 2 were out of stock). I'm particularly happy to have ordered Big Six-O & Dragon's Eye. I should've bought a Heart of Darkness too, was trying to keep my order reasonable, but will earmark it for future acquisition.

Greg they sell out fast so it could be that it was gone when you ordered

I ordered early and suspect it wasn't ready to post on the site.

While working on my semp order lists (5 different vendors), I'd see certain cultivars there, then they would disappear when checked later, then a few re-appeared again...I'm sure it's a fine line as to a plant's availability. I've been told to also wait until the growing season is in progress, so with good chicking, additional cultivars get added to the availability lists.

If you want any of Kevin's from Youngs Order those now don't wait. They sell out fast. SMG I buy my order but let him know I will be adding additional plants. So I complete many orders and he refunds shipping after sending the one big order. PO and Sempervivum Patch I just order as there list is more stable. However the euros sell fast at the patch. It's SMG's list that changes as he sells through his stock.

Thanks Julia you gave me another source to feed my addiction. I didn' t know about Sempervivum Patch.
