I have agree with Gene, you can't have cats! I'd love to have so many indoor plants but my cats would annihilate them! I'm lucky because I do have a space they aren't allowed in where I have grow lights. I keep my African violets & orchids there. I do also have a tiny backyard which I jam pack full of plants. I miss having lots of plants in the house though.☹️

however, fish tank is another matter, since it CAN be filled with all sorts of green pretties..can't find an empty spot for it though...ALL TAKEN!

this is 'the nursery' -the 2nd bedroom where i keep all the starts/propagations, spillovers.
the shelves are in front of floor to ceiling wall of windows.
impossible to take a pic from the back - all is black against the light. So this is the side of shelves facing the window, the window sill is in the bottom left corner. the shelves are stuffed top to bottom :).
and then there are plants on the floor in front and on the window sill too.
total count for this room stands at 130.

i keep a tight house - unwanted visitors are shown the door ;)...
but ...yah, i shower and neem often especially Crotons, Acalyphas, African Masks, Calatheas, Stromanthe.
i also overwinter Ivies, but keep them separate from other plants, they are the worst.
I dunk them pot and all into a tub for 30 min - very effective for mites .
Started doing this for African Masks too this fall. I Also tent them to prevent mites spreading to other plants. Miraculously, dunked and tented ones had no mites at all. untented ones did. so they get them from some cracks..donnow..

I have approx. 900 house plants in my small house. I could not do it without Azamax. Does not stink up the place, effective, kills all. Gene

i'm planning to look into it. i've gone thru African violet's phase and had 40 from 12 plants going and then 25 wiped out by mites.
they recommend a number of things Azamax, Judo(Forbid), AVID most are super expensive and/or for pro use and hard to get...
can you spray azamax indoors? problem is i don't have outdoor space for spraying and don't want to get 'intoxicated' by fumes
i see hydro people use it a lot - so that must be indoors. i sure need it

Amazon sells Azamax. It is not expensive. Yes, it can be sprayed indoors. Does not harm pets or children or fish. Repeat - does not stink up the house. I have years of experience using it. It works which is the main thing! Gene

You might think about running a small fan to circulate the air there. I have one that is plugged into the light timer. Gene

i have central a/c and i can run a fan with or without it + open the window. It normally creates a good flow. But it's been still freezing at night, so a/c is not turned on full blast. So for a few hours in late afternoon it gets balmy - i actually love it too, since the other side of the apt is still chilly at 70F :).
we have special dual system for west/south facing units that get super hot quick.
my tropicals love the glow so to speak ;). it's Summertime suddenly.
The African Masks are on a heat mat to boot and shooting their 1st leaves of the season. That's how i wake them up ev spring (and sprout bulbils when i dig them up after repot).

Wow! 200 plants! Wish I have a second bedroom too. My condo is barely 700 sq ft. The only area where there's sunlight are the east-facing window stools. I can keep just a little over 35 plants and have to give away some if I want to get some.

m-mm..that will require some clean-up ...it's a mess due to spring fever (sprouting caladiums and heating up African Masks)...and i need to replant all newly rooted plants...
and the problem is it's all back-lit and even with a flash you can't see much. It's a bunch of 6' shelves that are positioned smack into the floor to ceiling window. i'll try - but in general it's not a pretty site :). and the whole lot does not fit into a pic. and if it does - you won't see the plants, just a green mass of leaves...;(.
