| Any garden art ideas for canning jars? I have about 500 that hubby told me I have to get rid of since I no longer do any canning. I discovered 2002 must have been a really good gardening year based on the number of quarts of pickles I disposed of last night! |

| Garden tea lights. Wrap wire around the top and enough to hang them with. Add a small amount of sand - colored or otherwise - then put in tea lights. You can always get the little battery operated tea lights if you didn't want a real flame. :) |

| Oh, also, mini terrariums! |

| I saw those too and want to put them under an overhang on my shed out back by the greenhouse this summer. I might try to drill a hole in them for drainage then I can put some on the side of the porch that is out in the open. I love these kinds of things, re-purposing. Save the planet, it's the only one with chocolate. |

| Those blue jars are really cool! Just not sure what I'd do with them once I made them blue. |

A few years ago I painted sauce jars and mason jars. I put peppermint candies in them as gifts.

Thats a cute one, Dem!
You can also Google in images for ideas.
On Pinterest they are using jars to keep salads and lettuce fresher but I've come across ideas there occasionally! |

And, Don, you paint very lovely rocks as well. Have you posted any pictures in the painted rock threads? I can't keep up with all the threads of late.

Thanks, Becky. I'm meeting myself going and coming. Isn't that cat wonderful? They all are. And great basket of strawberries. Oops, guess I should have posted this comment on the other thread. Oh well.

Aren't they pretty? I think I even saw a site where you could "tint" the Epsom salts but I can't find it. Maybe someone can try it and let us know? |
