Thanks Jen! I totally forgot there was a Miniature Gardening forum and saw this thread in "Recent threads"! I don't have any miniature gardens yet so nothing here "waking up". BUT I've started saving tons of information while I'm laid up and as soon as I'm on my feet I'll be tackling my first miniature garden. I've already saved some sites for the 'decor' and in a few weeks hope to start playing with concrete and polymer clay to make some of my own 'decor'. I can't wait!
Wow, I never knew about mini gardens until I clicked on this forum then onto your thread. I was wondering what the heck they were but your photos perfectly explain it! What a cute and whimsical idea! I'm really curious as to if I could find a spot to make one where the dogs can't get to it. That'd be ideal but probably a long-shot, haha. Thanks so much for the pretty pictures!

My 2 fairy gardens are in the front where our German Shepherd doesn't go...you can also do container ones on your deck or patio, also found this a couple weeks ago which is great for keeping the dogs out of http://www.bhg.com/gardening/c...
The store I bought that pink crushed glass didn't have anymore
I saw it in another local store, I'll have to see if they have any left or else I'll need to order on line
