Kathy, at least your Max picta is blooming. All those new green "things" my plant was busy producing, are now beautiful new growth. No hint of any buds.
I like the Cym. Dorothy Stockstill 'Forbidden Fruit'.

Bree, blooming Vandas is always a good thing! Thumbs up I suppose you could do without Moth-ball scent.

My Lc Rojo is putting on a nice Show right now. 2 good spikes this year.

And - ripped out of the teeth of the Orchid undertaker a few years ago and never very happy - this is my Aerangis citrata which has decided to grow a bit better and actually liked the spot right over the fish tank so much, that it is opening two modest spikes.

That's great news-both. I just hope the chopped up roots on my new red guy, a child of Rojo, looks as great someday! And my Aer. citrata is going downhill so maybe I need a fishtank pronto! Off to a hefty tragic opera for the day...

Ursula, both of those flowers are beautiful and how gratifying that you figured out
a winning strategy for your Aerangis citrata! Hurray!

I'm going tomorrow, Jo. It's a bit bigger than the Amherst show but smaller than New Hampshire and the Cape shows. Info on shows is here. http://cubits.org/orchids/thre...

Thanks Bill,
I wait for the sun to hit a spot on the living room floor, I set the plant there and the background just disappears!
Tah dah...it's magic!

You can't beat the natural light..I still haven't read my camera manual...and all of my pictures are totally automatic
settings, only once in a while are the colors washed out from being over exposed..
