Always looking for interesting plants for pollinators and food! Bonus points for highly, and pleasantly scented plants.

Are you going to paint it? What color? White is tempting but black might be really nice too.

If I had it I'd paint it black, but that's just because all of my wrought iron is black. White would be fine too. It'll be really pretty and hold a lot of plants.

Haven't decided in painting yet. BTW, it was $6. The pressure was huge, so I HAD to... Right? nodding

Thanks. I love it as well and I do love spray painting. It's such a great feeling of accomplishment for five minutes of work.

Me too. In AZ they paint freeway overpasses in that color. It nicely complements the desert plants they use.

Butterflies
Two planters. Just love the color. Planted lavender in one. What should I plant in the McCoy vase? Paid 10.00 for both at an outdoor flea market.

Wonderful color!

So as not to take away the beauty of the pot, how about either Brunnera or Silver Painted fern (both for shade):
Thumb of 2019-05-01/pirl/6185e7

The fern:
The brunnera (there are many so check them
out):

You might want to avoid future problems with unpotting and put any plants in a typical nursery pot, then use your pretty pots as caches.

Did you want plants for sun or shade?

For sun:

Lots of heuchera would also work but select for the exposure the pot will have.
