I noticed NGA was very slow a little while ago, and when I came back just now I got this screen:

Anyone else getting this?

It seems to be some kind of denial of service protection (to prevent a site from getting overwhelmed by people with bad intentions). Maybe @dave installed it or the slowdown was a dos that triggered it? I don't really know how it works.

Most of everything I am doing gets that message and disappears!
Getting it when doing tree mails and tree mail disappears.

For me started when uploading a picture was pages of gibberish.

Ditto here, and extremely slow today. Many times I just gave up and went on to other sites. The problem of slowness appears to be just on this site.

Like Sue said, it looks like there is a denial of service attack underway and we're seeing the system's "armor" kick in to lock out the intruders. It may be annoying but for most people (if you're like me) it should just be a short delay, and far better than the alternative of no service at all. I'm guessing this will be a temporary situation, so sit tight, folks.
