Oh, we're just on a creek with a farm pond dug into it years ago. It eventually feeds into Puget Sound, but we are not close to the 'big water,' much to my dismay. I always wanted to retire on the salt, but that doesn't appear to be in the cards. I'm pleasantly surprised at the wildlife we do get though - bald eagles, herons, Canadian geese, lots of ducks (mallard, wood, baffleheads) and smaller birds. We have deer in the back but they rarely venture into the yard proper. Neighbors have spotted bear, and one shot a bobcat raiding his chicken coop.
