I have a "thing" or fondness for white daffodils esp. those with white perianth and pink/apricot cup. My favorites are Fragrant Rose and Perfect Lady. Can you share your favorite cultivars? I am looking to add a few new ones next year. Does anyone grow Winter Waltz?

Passionale
Perfect Lady
British Gamble
Fragrant Rose
Merlin
Cha Cha

used to have Stainless but they disappeared over the years.

I am looking for other good ones that are not listed above. Thanks.

We grow Ice Follies as well. Many that you have listed won't linger here in zone 8b. Did you ask this question on Houzz as well?

@jmorth Thank You! Thank You! Jmorth! WOW! The above all are gorgeous! I must narrow down to 5 though! Do you think Niveth, Kaydee, Snowbaby, Icewings, and Surfside are good ones to start with? Can't decide between Icewings and Snowboard? They look similar. I must get Snowbaby and Kaydee! Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Lovey dubby

Thankyou for the acorn Karen.

Those 5 are excellent.
Niveth I usually get from Old House Gardens, Kaydee is carried by McClure and Zimmerman. Snowbaby (a miniature), Icewings and Surfside came from Brent and Becky's.

Snowboard (1 flower per stem) is taller than Icewings and it is outfacing while Icewings, a div. 5 daffodil. is somewhat pendent (the bloom) and has 2 or 3 blooms per stem.

Thumb of 2018-12-12/jmorth/93b6cd Ice Wings & Kaydee. Kaydee is usually taller than this depiction. I'll try to find a better pic.

It is so beautiful! I have been looking for a white like this which does not have too big of a cup. Thanks so much, Jmorth for these recommendations, pics, and the places to get them from. Save me alot of time searching. Do you have these planted in full sun or some shade? Which location do they perform well in?

Karen ~ Honestly, I do not recall. I will have to make a note of it. Our springtime is often a recipient of a late snow, mostly in April. It does play havoc with scheduled bloomtimes.

No problem! If you can let me know what other bulbs bloom with them, I can get a good guess its approximate bloom time in my zone. Thanks.

I like white daffodils too. My favorite has always been Thalia. The others I have are Stainless and Misty Glen for large cups , Ice Wings and Petrel for the tinier daintier size. A new one to me last season was Starlight Sensation from Brent and Beckys. @jmorth thanks for the lists and photos - saw a few that will go on my want list for planting next fall Smiling

@aspenhill My pleasure. Thalia is excellent, reliable, and forcible.
I forced that one (Starlight) a couple of years ago.

Terri, I have been thinking about Misty Glen too! I plan to add Icewings next year. Though I really like the bicolor white ones that change colors as they mature.
