Irises
I want to introduce you to some pretty beautiful Russian irises. In particular, the irises hybridizer Olga Ryabykh, who is working in the South of Russia, CBR. Here are some photos from her garden (unfortunately, the quality of the photos is not very good). I've requested photos of her species and will post here with her permission. In addition, the database will be less varieties without photos Thumbs up

Open the picture in the database and you will see a BB Code right above the photograph. Highlight the BB Code info from the first bracket to the end bracket [dbphoto_]xyz###[/dbphoto] (example of code to highlight)
then hit the keys Ctrl+C, switch over to your post and then hit Ctrl+V where you want to place the image. Easiest to do this with both windows open.

I have never figured out how to do this from my smart phone. Maybe someone can give those directions?

Leslie ~ It can be done, but it is more complicated.
First use a bracket, [ then enclose the words, "db_photo", without quotation marks] then put the 5 or 6 numbers, then enclose with brackets again /db_photo. Then preview your message to make sure.

Of course, you have to search for the iris, and then write down the numbers. If you have another device handy, like a tablet or IPad, you can copy the numbers from there.

Gee, I think most foreign vendors and hybridizers outside Australia and France are really under appreciated, because these photos and Dimson's are spectacular irises from hybridizers I wish I could meet.

Thank you for the photos, Serjio

Beauties all! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

Olga Ryabykh is a great hybridizer and it's a shame her irises are not more widely available.

Thank you for sharing them with us Serjio! I tip my hat to you.

Those are some awesome irises. If I could import them, I'd have to sell a few horses to afford all of the ones I'd want. Rolling on the floor laughing Maybe it's best if I just enjoy the pictures. Sighing!
