I have been growing daylilies since 1980, collecting them since 1992, and hybridizing since 1993. I moved from Vermont to St. Louis, Missouri in 1995 and joined the circle of Oscie Whatley's friends and the wider circle of the AHS email Robin. I joined the St. Louis Symphony Chorus in 1998, fulfilling a lifelong passion for music, and still am a member in 2012. I retired from a career directing a cultural foundation in 2010 and am spending a lot of time now volunteering with AHS when not outdoors tending the landscaping or hybridizing.
