I preped this watercolor paper a year ago. Somehow it never spoke to me until I wanted to paint Achillea.

For several days now there has been a Goldfinch at the Zinnias. I knew this was a great subject for a painting so I started the "color flows " for it.

It doesnt look like much but in a few days I will either abandon it or finish it.
July 23 stage two of lily painting OOOOPS I abandoned the other lily painting.This is a new one and I feel better about it.

I love this technique and the cat.
