I got an Earthbox planted today with a watermelon in hopes of a late fruit. The EB is really easy to get going and I'm hoping this goes well. The other stuff is growing well with still no ferts. I'm saving some banana peels in the freezer (hope isn't mistake, got to check) in hopes of making a tea or cutting them up. It's really hot with temps in the 90s and index 100. I'm going to try and shade the containers tomorrow and see if that helps. I'm happy to see that little watermelon on the first plant I started.

This is sunflowers and Cantaloupe.
I'm happy to report that I had a little jalapeño plant to pop up today in the SIP planter. I know the result is what matters but I'm glad to see these go from plans to planting. I've started 2 Carolina Reaper peppers, a Cayenne, 1 jalapeño, 1 Cantaloupe, and 1 Watermelon, Sugar Baby like the others, yesterday, 6/22/19. I've no idea where these will go. I'll find a place.
My little experimental garden is planted and going now with the Brandywine tomato plants going in today. I'm still making some SIP containers for more melons. I hope these bottomless pots are my answer. We shall see.
I'm getting these bottomless containers in and going after a mess of a start. My goal is to have this little experiment garden planted and going by Sat, 6/1. Pepper seeds are still a mystery but I'm going with what I've got.
