We dispose of so many small bottles, from our kitchens and bathrooms into the garbage bin. We are throwing away some valuable stuff. For gardeners especially, these things are still useful even after the product is gone. We can recycle our trash into garden supplies!
Here I have used a cleaning liquid spray bottle.
I have cut it up into strips and used them to mark what I sowed in the bed.

These can also be cut into lovely shapes more artistically. For this, a flat surface would be of help. Even round bottles can be used. I used a Sharpie pen to write the names, but as I found out, they did last only about 4 months and did not get through the rainy season. Pencils and paint pens work very well.
Using our "trash" and saving our pennies -- every little bit helps!
