Birds don't care if you keep it simple and don't spend money on fancy birdbaths.

I have 3 ornamental ponds and two pedestal birdbaths in my yard. However, the most popular with the birds is a large plant saucer that is located on the ground near some rose shrubs.

The depth is just right for feathered splashing and the saucer is easy to pick up, clean and refill each day.
