Looking for something new to add to salad? Try Tatsoi Asian greens. Or serve as a quick stir-fry side dish. Steam it, stir fry it, or add it to soups. Tatsoi is versatile, pretty, and so easy to grow.

Sow Tatsoi anytime from spring through autumn. It is easy to start from seed, very cold tolerant, and versatile. Tatsoi can be harvested for eating at any stage. It takes about 30 days for young plants, 60 days for maturity. It is very nutritious (high in calcium and vitamins). My Tatsoi has grown all summer long with no bolting.

Tatsoi (Brassica rapa) belongs to the brassica family, which includes broccoli. It grows as a flat rosette that looks very pretty and decorative. Harvest it by cutting leaves near the base of the central stem.
