Here is another idea for those cold winter days. I buy walnuts in bags, which are everywhere this time of year due to the holidays. Use a good quality gloss spray paint. I found that one for rust covers better. Also, if you put them on an old cake rack, it will keep them from rolling around and will let them drip dry. Spray them red on all sides. Next, paint three or four leaves on the top and a couple of squiggly lines. Then get a black sharpie (because it's easier) and make little dots all over it. And you are done! Strawberries that last forever!!!
