Soft fruits, hard fruits, exotic fruits, vine fruits: do you grow them?

Date: April 6, 2011Branch with almost ripe fruitIf your local nursery hasn't already begun stocking fruit trees, they will soon- which of course means that spring must be right around the corner. It's another glorious opportunity to plant yet more sweet, juicy and delicious fruits!

Apples, pears, peaches, figs, grapes, lemon trees in pots, loquats... or perhaps you are fortunate enough to have citrus fruit trees for planting in the ground. Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, kiwis, honeyberries: these soft fruits are a delicious addition to any garden.

What about where you garden? Do you have fruits of any sort? What are you growing that you think the rest of us are missing out on?
