From the time we announced the activity through now, we had a total of 2,583 forum images associated with plants in the database. I'm amazed at how many there were!
In addition to the benefit to the forums, this contest also promoted the whole concept of associating forum images with database entries. It spurred the creation of the preference option that lets members disable this for their own photos, and it educated the membership about how this whole thing works. A true win all the way around.
The winners of this contest were:
