Dracaena marginata, Red edged Dracaena or Madigascar Dragon tree.
Family Agavaceae.
Great houseplant for my Pacific Northwest climate. It tolerates shade, but grows best close to a northern window. It likes an eastern window, in a bright room, with indirect light too.
Growth is slow indoors in Washington. A vacation outside for the summer really helps the plant put some growth on.
Water with room temperature water left out overnight as fluoride does not agree with this plant. Or collect rainwater. Do not overfertlise.
