A landlord gave me a couple of bulbs while living at his Mother's home in 2002. She first planted them in 1910 when the home was built. Living there 12 years the bulbs split to 150 plants which I gave back to my landlord to plant at his home in rememberence of his Mom. 105 years after the verified original planting the descendants are still growing strong in a large container. I planted several in part shade and they faired poorly.
