Aglaonema 'Cecilia' |
Have My Houseplants |
This is currently one of my favorite plants. It's super-easy to care for, has beautiful markings, and it grows fairly quickly near my SW facing window. I was given a cutting [from a huge healthy 5 year old specimen]. I potted it as a single stem with 2 leaves. (5mo. Ago) and now we have 3 times that amount with one on the way. I water mine between Once a week to 10 days. I feed it plain old all purpose miracle-gro mixed per gal. Of water about once a month through summer and I plan to do less (6-8wks) in the winter. |

easy to maintain, Tough/hard to kill, and prefers Low light. The leaves are a Gorgeous Mix of deep to medium green with Pink stems as well as Red along the outer edge of each and every glossy leaf. The Roots are nice and white, however there is hardly any soil due to the aggressive thick root growth on both my plants. (More photos and growth updates to come). I will be digging through this site for the most common advice on how/when to best re-pot these as well as the type of soil & conditions that they will truly thrive in. I hope to document their progress along with any tips I pick up as Tried & True. |
