lauribob's Plant List: Corner

A note from lauribob
I am not interested in selling or trading live plants. I do save seeds once in awhile and would be willing to trade those.

2017: Planted back in the corner somewhere around the wheelbarrow I think.
I'm not sure if this is still there?

2022: I bought a couple to fill in around the GH as I try to reclaim that mess.
2021 Planted: Greenhouse 2 plants in the triangle. I used to have these along the front, but they went bye-bye.
2016 Planted. Corner Spreading nicely

2002: Planted back in the corner around the wheelbarrow. This comes up every year in the corner here, but it really doesn't ever get big enough to have a presence. I wonder what it wants?

Dead Zone
Corner - This just showed up in '18, I didn't plant it. In front of the white lilac.
2019 - Seems to be gone from Z5.

2014: Planted in the Z5 garden. It wasn't really thriving.
2016: Moved from Z5 to Corner willow end. Needed more shade.
2017: Added a second one in the same area.

When it's big enough, split some out for Deb

Knick Knack

Native.
This is turning up everywhere. Trying to get it gone from most everywhere other than the aspen garden and maybe the corner bank.
The one in the KK is too big for me to dig up, so it's staying too.

Is no longer twisted. I guess I'll let it stay anyway for now. It's growing very slowly. That's OK.

Aspen: I'm totally letting it go in here as a ground cover. I'm going to actively try to get it to spread in the dry areas along the driveway.
Corner: I'm letting it go here as a ground cover as well. It looks nice and hides a lot of neglect.
Front Bank: 2020 - I moved some that I dug out of the rocks to under the chokecherry as a ground cover.
Rocks: This had moved in here, but I more or less have eradicated it from here. It's too busy.

Z5
This stuff does really well here. I love the jolly yellow in the spring, and it seems to be wanting to spread in the Z5 garden.

2020: I got 2 of these from Gilbert Wild on a bogo. They were supposed to be Raspberry Suede, but came marked as this. They both bloomed the first year and are both Raspberry suede. It's pretty. This one was a lot more expensive than the one I paid for on a close-out deal!

Grasses
2021: Started from seed and got a healthy little crop of these guys. I'll have to keep a close eye on whether they want to spread vigorously - the seed heads are toxic to livestock, which I didn't know until the end of summer. I can't tell which is this grass or which is just the wild grass...
I finally got them in the ground on July 5th. It was too hot, but they were chilling in the herb garden in their little pots. So far they just look like...grass. I put 8 of them in the wild part of the corner, mixed in with the other tall grass. Hope they can get enough water to thrive. We've had record breaking heat in June this year.

Planted 2017. Deer nibble on these more than they do in the front garden. Also had some bug damage 2018 on the hostas and daffodils in the corner garden. Some kind of black flying things.

All three of these hostas are struggling. The deer aren't afraid to do a little browsing in this garden. I already lost the 4th one. Bugs also were hitting them in 2018.
