I planted one of these in the lower yard in 2008, where the raspberries were before we moved them into the veggie garden. It made it a year or two and then just woke up dead in the spring. It was really pretty while it lasted. I have not had much luck down there with trees, other than aspen. They probably get root rot in the spring during high water. | |

Z5: I had a really gorgeous one where the grass circle is now. I planted a new one on the garage side, in front of the roses in 2017. I hope it becomes as nice as the old one. 2019: It's gone. The gophers were really busy over where it was. |
