This clematis is a work horse. It's the first to start blooming and the last to stop every year - May through September here in my zone 4 garden. It's a bush type rather than climbing, and it stays short in my zone 4 garden, about 3-4 ft. The flowers are the most gorgeous color; more of a pale blue than lavender. I only gave it supplemental water twice the entire summer and mine is located in full sun the entire day. Super easy to grow and one of my favorites!

The first year I had this plant the critters ate it to the ground when the vines were about 6" long. It never came back that year. The second year it had about six vines and a few flowers. I cut the vines back several times during the summer to promote root growth. The picture of the full plant is the third year. As you can see, it really paid to keep it cut back the second year!

This plant is part of the Festoon™ Evison™ / Poulsen® collection.

Lovely shade of blue. You have to train and tie this one to a trellis or you can just let it ramble through the other plants.

This Clematis grew almost 20 feet up the television antenna the first year I had it.

Blooms off and on all summer.

Vigorous grower and bloomer. Blooms are small, around 1" diameter, and very double.

This variety and Sweet Autumn Clematis are the best Clematis I have ever grown in my no fuss garden. It blooms just about non stop throughout the growing season. VERY carefree and easy to grow!
