I bought my bulbs of Midnight Trumpet Lilies from The Lily Garden due to the picture they show of nice deeply colored purple flowers. Unfortunately, this has never been the case for the blooms in my garden. Very disappointed in the color as mine are much, much lighter and not even all solid color looking. The one thing that will never disappoint with this lily is the rich intoxicating scent. All I need to do is to get near that section of garden when Midnight is in bloom as the scent lingers in the air. Lovely!
