This was the only one of my lilies I ever named at first sight. I saw it out in the field the day it first opened, hundreds of feet away, and thought to myself, "I have to get down there and look at that. It is just stunning." And it was and is.

Stunning opens with quite a bit of yellow in the bloom but gradually fades to a creamy vanilla. It's beautiful all of the time and nice to see the changes happening.

'Stunning' is a lily bred from the vigorous late blooming 'Yellow Blaze'. 'Stunning' blooms in early to mid July for me.
