Produces decorative hips that are high in Vitamin C and can be used to make tea.

Can be grown as a climber in mild climates. Prune after flowering is finished. This rose blooms on old wood.

Soil: Well-drained, or moist but well-drained, Acid, Alkaline or Neutral, Sand, Clay, Chalk or Loam.

We found this rose growing on an old, abandoned property where the home had long ago been torn down. It was obviously unattended, received no special treatment or supplemental water ... and was blooming profusely.
