    A pair of large three-lobbed leaves on a stout stem shelter an intricate green and purple or just green flower structure resembling a small figure in a hooded pulpit. Arisaema blooms in spring.
    For best results (if planting more than one of these plants), space each one at least 1 foot apart from each other.
    Landscape uses:
    Use jack-in-the-pulpit in a woodland garden among plants that will fill in the empty space left when its foliage dies down.
