I have grown this plant for several years, in nearly full sun (irrigated & with rich soil), on the open s-w side of my lawn. I have found it undemanding and of moderate growth rate, though I recommend extra care when dividing, as I found it pouts.
The speckling adds an extra dimension to this plant that I really like - well worth having in the garden.

Another pretty plant that doesn't photograph well. It really sparkles in the shade and looks great next to a bright green hosta or another heuchera. It stayed completely evergreen for me in zone 7.

It was carefree in a container, not requiring much water or any more extra care than the heucheras planted in the ground.

In zone 4 Wisconsin tends to get a darker pink as the summer goes on, but still remains a very attractive plant. The pink spots on the leaves are very unusual and eye catching.

Also comes in a 2nd version called Midnight Rose Select. Lighter in color with more spotting.
