I would love to see everyone's bitones and bicolored daylilies. Here are the descriptions from the ADS dictionary:

Bicolor - A daylily flower whose petal segments are of a completely different color than its sepal segments.

Bitone - A flower with inner and outer segments of different tints of the same basic color. A bitone has lighter outer segments (sepals) and darker inner segments (petals). A REVERSE BITONE has the darker tones on its outer ring (sepals) and lighter coloration on the inner segments (petals)

I have a few:

suggestions for a mate for this one appreciated. I'd like something a min of 36" tall, well branched and I want to emphasize the big and round form. Love the pink too ...

Valerie, that is a beautiful shot of 'Ethereal Light'! And your seedlings are gorgeous, especially that last one. Hope they are doing well for you:) How could you forget 'Howdy', Rolling on the floor laughing !

Boyd, I am just so jealous of your Clown Parade. I have admired it for years, but never got it.

Jill, there is that awesome looking 'Desert Solitaire' again. Love the shading on it:)

Kathy, I'm guessing you mean as a complementary color in the garden, but maybe you mean something to mate with for hybridizing?? Anyway, how about 'Yellow Ducky' to go with your 'Caswell Girls'? Branching is good, but not as good as others that I have, but it is registered at 35" and it does well for me.

Oh Greg, those are some nice looking bi's. 'Saber Tooth Tiger' is so cool looking!

Vickie, I did mean as a match for hybridizing. ;) I do have some that I feel are good matches, but they aren't big round pinks.

Looking at my plant list showing those registered as bicolored showed:

Now to me this actually looks more like a Bitone

Can't tell this fits either description.

This does look like a Bicolor to me.

These showed to be Registered as Bitones:

Here is what it looked like in my garden,

As far as just being a Bitone bloom 'Open Hearth', this is my favorite.

Here is what it looked like in my garden, I would not have noticed it being a Bitone.

Nice ones, Larry! I've seen pictures of Azure Wings a few times before and it always looks so pretty:)

I agree, Larry. I don't think Mexican Sunrise fits either description, even though it is listed as a bicolor in the NGA database. It is not listed that way on the ADS database. That seems very odd that the descriptions would even differ since I thought the descriptions here at NGA came straight from the ADS database.

NGA description: rose and yellow bicolor with yellow band above a light yellow throat

ADS description: Matte rose and yellow blend with a ruffled yellow edge and a triangular yellow throat with streaks coming up onto the midribs. (Jumble Edge × Sligo)

Radiation Biohazard sure has a lot of blooms! And I can see why Open Hearth is a favorite... it is a beauty!

I love all your seedlings, especially that 2019 seedling! That NOID that is supposed to be Neon Rainbow is darling:)

Thanks Vickie!
More bi-tones to come (for 2021)! Thanks to @celestialrose and her seed sale this winter, I have seedlings from:
Clown Parade x Westbourne Good Old Days
Westbourne Good Old Days x Clown Parade

Clown Parade has been on my list for forever- something out of these seedlings might fill the bill.
They're up and growing Hurray! Hurray!
